Interactive Service Quality Map in the Telecommunications Sector

The Service Quality Portal is designed as a tool to meet the needs of telecommunications service users who want to know the status of communications networks in Oman. The portal contains a number of mobile network performance reports based on independent field tests conducted by the Authority in various public places such as airports, shopping malls, attractions, etc. One of the main features of the portal is the "Interactive Coverage and Quality Map", which allows mobile users in Oman to know the status of coverage, estimated download speeds in their locations and compare different service providers. The portal also includes quarterly reports provided by telecommunications providers and guidelines on creating user awareness about broadband access.
